Getting up early today and heading out after the rain, I looked for evidence of spring. There they were!  Red poppies looking cheerful and fresh.  In my painting, I tried to capture the new day's sunlight and the vivid color of the landscape's flowers.  This is a 5x7 image in a dark gallery-style frame.  This and other spring paintings are now available for purchase.  Spring is only 8 days away!  Happy Spring Break to those of you who are students, teachers, or employees of the school/college system!!
