87th Nesbitt Reunion 2010 at the Cassel Farm in Elizabethtown, PA~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After returning to Texas from our Nesbitt Reunion this past weekend, I just wanted to say, "Wow! What an amazing weekend!" I also just wanted to say Thanks to the planning committee of Nesbitts that made this possible~~ Marylou Nesbitt, President, Audrey Nesbitt Rodriguez, Secretary/Treasurer/ Family Historian, and Amy Reichert Kennedy, local coordinator and planner. From greetings and registration on Friday, July 9th to breakfast on Sunday, July 11th, I experienced a whirlwind of wonderful activities and visiting that made the time fly by much too quickly. Personal highlights for me included exploring the Nesbitt Archives, swapping stories with my cousins, aunts, and uncles, plus, singing along with the family on the entertaining trolley ride at Hershey. The unforgettable Saturday night Picnic Dinner at the Cassel Farm in Elizabethtown also was not only delicious but filled with fun because of the accompanying silent auction fundraiser after dinner.

Our business meeting revealed the possibility of an 88th reunion in Erie, PA in 2012. I hope to see you all again at the next reunion if not before the 2012 gathering! Again, thanks for the clarity of our family tree, Audrey, and the planning and communications from both Audrey and Marylou! In closing, thanks to all of you for the great memories from another successful family reunion!!
